To generalise, we use modern disco equipment which is flight-cased.

Our lighting ranges from sophisticated modern laser to aesthetic mood lighting. We can also supply retro lighting for themed events.

The speaker systems range from standard conventional to elegant linear array design:

Our music delivery systems include modern DVD mixing desks used for sophisticated events such as Video Disco, CD players and digital players.

Q) How do I book you for for my wedding date? - Mike Birch

All mobile disco bookings are confirmed via exchange of contracts; by signed written agreement either during a face to face meeting or exchanged via post.

Note: Contracts with Pimlico Entertainment are confidential.

A reservation fee will be required to secure your date.

If a discount is offered, the remaining balance must be settled before the specified date to qualify.

We suggest bookings are reserved well in advance of the wedding date as there are increasingly popular specific dates throughout the year when demand for our personalised service is high.

Some mobile disco services provide weekend entertainment as an additional form of income on top of their day job, reflecting in their fee a rate what they are satisfied with.

Once we have listened carefully to your needs, an ideal wedding disco entertainer will be confirmed with you at the time of booking.

Please Note:

1) Pimlico Entertainment seeks to avoid the bad practices commonly associated with the disco industry.

We are accountable to our clients and provide a contract.
Our DJ entertainers are Registered and Licensed as required.
We are a visible business to the Inland Revenue.
DJ Entertainers carry Public Liability Insurance (up to £10 million pounds).

2) Understandably, in depth pre-preparation is required for a Wedding Reception or Civil Partnership Ceremony than other types of function.

3) Compared to other types of function, the duration of the 'day' can be longer due to requirements, for example:

Earlier installation of disco equipment, health and safety requirements, sound checks, etc

Background music during Wedding Breakfast

Music played during Wedding Ceremony

PA & Radio Mic supplied for Speeches / Toastmaster

The standard of the DJs / entertainers dress code is required to be higher than a 'standard' function
